Knicks Sweep the Cavs

The New York Knicks are heading back to the NBA Finals for the first time since 1999. In a dominant display of both offensive fire power and lock down defense, the Knicks complete a four game sweep of the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Finals. The game four win caps off an incredible 11 game postseason winning streak and places the franchise just four wins away from its first championship title since 1973.

Thunder Even the Series

I am not typically one to get on my high horse about how professional officials do their job. But last night was a poorly officiated game and you wouldn't know that by looking at the box score. Both teams on the stat sheet committed twenty-one fouls. There were missed calls and soft whistles, both of those favored the Thunder. In a game with the magnitude of a conference finals game, this simply can not happen. The officials that are assigned to game three need to review the footage of game two and keep an eye out for similar instances in game three. For example, Hartenstein hooking Wemby under the basket, grabbing Castle's hair, Isaiah Joe flopping at the top of the key, SGA falling down after most of his shots, and plenty of other instances. Regardless, the Thunder made it out of game two with a win to tie the series. Let's talk about game two of the Western Conference Finals!

Colossal Collapse or Epic Comeback?

Depending on which team you were rooting for last night determines if you watched an unbelievable collapse or a historic comeback. I am sure there were a lot of Cleveland fans who went to bed before the fourth quarter expecting to wake up to a 10+ point victory. There were probably just as many upset Knicks fans who turned the game off around the same time. Needless to say fans of both teams woke up to a surprise this morning, a bad one for Cleveland fans and a welcomed one for the Knicks fans. Let's talk about what we saw in game one last night!

I have never done a full 32 mock draft, typically I just mock the Bengals 7 round draft. But with the Bengals not having a 1st round pick I figured I should mock draft for everyone else and see how well I do. With the first pick in the 2026 NFL draft, the Las Vegas Raiders select.....

Will Michigan Be Too Much For Hurley's Huskies?

Over the last few seasons I have fallen in love with Dan Hurley and his ability to get the most out of his players year in and year out. He is beyond crazy about turning his men into champions, some might even call him psychotic. But that's what makes him great now and why he will continue to be great for many years to come. People say if you want to achieve levels of success that other people dream of you have to be delusional. In early 2020 if you told anyone that UConn would win back to back titles in '23 & '24 and would be playing for another in '26 you might have been called delusional. Hurley knew what he was capable of and that his desire to be great would rub off on his players. He has a famous quote after a loss to Villanova. He said "You better get us now because it.. it's coming." Boy was he right. I am not sure how many people in the sports world took Hurley serious when he said that, I'm sure some even laughed and doubted him. What I have seen from UConn the last 4 season has been nothing short of remarkable. Every single game is coached, played, and treated like it is the last game these guys will ever play. That determination and drive to be great and succeed is something a lot of people can learn from. If you want it, go get it. And if you want something bad enough there is nothing that can stop you from achieving that goal.
